IYS Summer Lunch BBQ Kick Off

Guest speaking from City officials, resources from community partners, and games to play for the family! Come out and learn what it is all about while having some fun in the sun doing so.

The goal of the Summer Lunch Program is to fulfill the nutritional needs of low income youth during the summer months with daily distribution of free USDA sponsored nutritional lunches. Distribution sites include both city and rural areas. The Summer Lunch Program serves youth age 1-18 free daily meals from June to August. IYS has several sites throughout the city including Library sites as well as throughout several neighborhood parks.
