The annual Hildebrand Threshing Bee will be held this Labor Day weekend, September 2nd & 3rd, 2023 from 9-4 both days.
It is a FREE EVENT showcasing antique farm equipment including harvesters, tractors and stationary engines. Two large steam traction engines, the predecessors of modern tractors will be running and driving. One of them will power the antique threshing machine that will be demonstrating this important process. Also a draft horse team will be showing the power of these huge animals to contribute to many farming tasks.
This event will be held at Bodner’s Chimney Rock Ranch, 22 miles east of Klamath Falls. From Klamath Falls, take Hwy 140 East to Bliss Road, turn north, (a left turn) and follow the signs.
The Hilbebrand Threshers is an all volunteer non-profit organization devoted to discovering, preserving and communicating the history of Farming in Klamath County. We are Chapter 21 of the Early Days Gas Engine & Tractor Association. Membership is available at the show.
