This message is a courtesy reminder that the public comment period for DEQ’s Water Quality Standards Triennial Review 2025-2027 Workplan will close at 5 p.m. on December 2, 2024. Information about the Triennial Review and instructions to provide comment can be found on the Water Quality Standards Triennial Review website and in the Public Notice.
DEQ will also hold a public hearing on the proposed Triennial Review 2025-2027 Workplan at 4 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024. The hearing will be held by webinar and teleconference only. The public can participate in the hearing by video webinar or audio teleconference. Links to attend the hearing by webinar or teleconference are provided in the Public Notice.
The purpose of the Triennial Review process is to determine what water quality standards revisions DEQ should undertake over the next three years. The Review will result in a workplan that outlines the water quality standard projects DEQ will complete or initiate between 2025 and 2027.
