PORTLAND, Ore. – Oregon Tech completed a weekend sweep in the Rose City, riding a double-double from Molly Grace to a 25-16, 25-14, 25-12 victory at Warner Pacific inside Perry Gymansium.

The Lady Owls (12-8, 5-7 CCC) won for the fifth time in six outings and equaled their win total from the entire 2023 season.

Big runs in each of the three sets built OIT insurmountable leads. The Owls closed Set 1 on a 7-1 run, getting aces from Sumerlyn Spencer and Lucy Boyd, coupled with five hitting errors from the Knights (0-13, 0-11). Grace paced Tech in Set 2, recording two kills and two aces in an opening 11-5 push. Set 3 was all Tech, as Grace and Boyd each had two kills in a 9-0 run to start the period.

Grace finished the afternoon with 14 kills and 12 digs, hitting at a .560 clip. Aleksen Thayer had eight kills, Tiana Barrett had six kills in eight swings, Boyd logged 27 assists and eight digs, with Kaley Whalen leading all players with 18 digs.

WPU was paced by seven kills from middle blocker Elizabeth Reid.
