CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State football team fell, 49-14, to ninth-ranked Oregon on Saturday afternoon in Reser Stadium.

Despite a third consecutive game with triple-digit yards through the air (172) by Gevani McCoy, the Beavers (2-1) could not overcome the Ducks’ offense. McCoy coupled his passing performance with a 39-yard first quarter run, which was the most in his career. Anthony Hankerson led the OSU rushing attack with 15 attempts and a pair of trips to the endzone.

Isaiah Chisom led the defensive unit with 10.0 tackles, 4.0 solo stops and a tackle for loss on the afternoon while Jaden Robinson had a team-best 5.0 solo tackles. In the secondary, Kobe Singleton tallied a pass breakup. 21 different Oregon State defenders registered at least one tackle with eight getting at least 3.0.

Oregon State returns to action next week next week when they face their second consecutive opponent from the Big Ten, Purdue. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. and can be seen on The CW.
