André 3000 has embarked on his first solo tour in support of his instrumental album, New Blue Sun. The run of intimate live shows will take André across the U.S. through March.
The New Blue Sun Live Tour kicked-off in Brooklyn, New York at the end of January, which was followed by a three-night residency at the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club in Manhattan. André is joined on the road by some of the musicians who co-produced his debut solo LP, including Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina and Deantoni Parks.
The tour will then make stops in Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta and San Francisco before finishing with a five-night stint at The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles from March 5-9.
