“Take Her Home” was co-written by Zach Abend, HARDY, and Hunter Phelps, and tells a story about a couple meeting, falling in love and starting to grow old together. Chesney says: “Every now and then, you find a song that just feels right. There’s an honesty about life that you can’t just churn out. That’s what [‘Take Her Home’] is to me. When I got the demo, I immediately knew it was the first song I wanted to release from my next project.”
