Think Pink Day Oct 26th

Sky Lakes Cancer Treatment Center and Breast Health Services are partnering to celebrate Breast Cancer Prevention Month and encouraging the community come together to wear PINK on October 26th. They hope that schools, businesses, community partners will all bring out the PINK on Thursday the 26th.

Did you know that women who receive regular screenings for breast cancer have a 26% lower breast cancer death rate than women who do not receive screenings? Or think about it this way, with regular screening for breast cancer women’s survival rate is 74%.  Regular cancer screenings saves lives.

They are also promoting that you can now self-schedule your next mammogram appointment in MyChart. Simply go to www.mychart.skylakes.org and selection “schedule an appointment”. It’s that easy.
