Klamath Falls Little League awaits fate at 50/70 Regionals

NOGALES, Ariz. – The Klamath Falls Little League will have to wait for the result of tonight’s game between Alaska and Southern California to find out if they will advance in the 50/70 West Region Tournament.

Klamath Falls went 0-4 in pool play with losses to Southern California, Washington, Host, and Northern California.

Alaska enters tonight’s game with an 0-3 record in pool play. Due to tiebreaker rules, they must lose and allow at least nine runs in order for Klamath Falls to advance. Alaska has allowed at least 10 runs in each of their games so far.

If Klamath Falls advances, they will compete in an eight-team single-elimination tournament July 25-27. The winner will be crowned West Region champion and earn a spot in the 2023 Intermediate 50/70 World Series, which runs from July 30 to August 6 in Livermore, Calif.
