Klamath Falls, Ore. – Klamath Falls Marijuana Advisory Board is seeking volunteers. The Marijuana Advisory Committee is a recommending body to the City Council regarding State policies and regulations concerning the marijuana industry and impacts to the community. There are 4 vacancies on this Committee. The committee meet as needed or quarterly at 500 Klamath Avenue in the downstairs conference room. Volunteer Board members consist of a minimum of 5 City residents and two possible County residents. A majority of members must be Oregon dispensary license holders, dispensary license applicants, or individuals otherwise knowledgeable of the marijuana industry. The standard term for board members is 4-years and the terms are staggered. The current vacancies include one 2-year term and three 4-year terms. Applicants for the four vacancies may include two county residents or all four can be City of Klamath Falls residents. The Board advises the Mayor and Council on city policies and regulations regarding the marijuana industry in Klamath Falls.
