Monday (4/7/25)
Tulelake 10, Dunsmuir 0 (Game 1)
A four-run first inning jumpstarted the Honkers’ offense as Tulelake played its first game in three weeks, collecting a win over league opponent Dunsmuir.
Miles Scott went 2-3 at the plate and knocked in two runs, while Osbaldo Hernandez also went 2-3 and added 3 RBI. The Honkers rattled 9 hits in the game.
Geovanni Alvarez was the winning pitcher, going 1.2 innings and striking out three batters.
Tulelake 8, Dunsmuir 0 (Game 2)
A seven-run rally in the fourth inning lifted Tulelake to a doubleheader sweep of the Tigers.
The Honkers pitching staff held Dunsmuir to only two hits, as the starter and winning pitcher Jason Orr tossed four innings and struck out 10 batters. Rafael Hernandez finished the game and struck out three batters.
This win extends Tulelake’s winning streak to four games and they are 2-0 in Evergreen League play. They’ll put that record on the line against Plumas Charter on April 10th.
Tuesday (4/8/25)
Henley 18, Mazama 2
The Hornets scored seven runs before recording a base hit, plating 10 in the first inning in a mercy-rule Skyline Conference victory.
The Vikings needed three pitchers to escape the first inning as Jonathan Ladner and Deshawn Carter were both unable to record outs while giving up a combined nine runs in the first (seven earned) and walking five batters. Silas Kapitan would enter in relief and gave Mazama 4.1 innings while allowing 10 hits and eight runs while striking out five batters.
The winning pitcher was Henley’s Beau Pyle who worked 4.0 innings giving up just one hit and striking out three.
Pyle was also a standout offensively for Henley going 3-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and a triple. Carson Siems also added two doubles and an RBI, while Corbin Hamilton was 1-5 with four RBI. Henley had 11 hits as a team and walked 10 times.
Mazama was able to muster two hits as Max Rogers finished 1-2 and Devyn Lobdell was 1-3 with a triple in the first inning and an RBI.

Klamath Union 9, Phoenix 4
The Pelicans matched last season’s win total as they dispatched the Phoenix Pirates on the road.
Klamath Union scored first in the second inning and added four in the fourth, one in the sixth, and three in the seventh to secure this win. Tildon Coffman continued his hot streak going 2-3 with three RBI. Reese Johnson was 2-4 with two RBI. The Pelicans had 12 hits as a team. Klamath Union took advantage of four Phoenix errors in the win.
PJ Safford delivered his third complete game of the season allowing six hits and punching out six batters. Christopher Phillips was the losing pitcher for Phoenix, throwing 6.0 innings allowing 11 hits and nine runs (one earned) and struck out five batters.
Phoenix will face Mazama on April 11th as they continue league play, while Klamath Union takes a break from the Skyline Conference when they face Madras.
Lost River 10, Bonanza 0
A dominant pitching performance and patience at the plate helped the Raiders to a mercy-rule victory over their rival Bonanza Antlers.
Lost River only had two hits, as nine walks and three Antler errors paved the way for a Raider win. Brock Lacy and Noah O’Neil each had singles. For Bonanza, Colby Medeiros got the lone hit.
Diaz was the winning pitcher for Lost River, working 4.0 innings and striking out six batters. Layne Miranda got the loss for Bonanza, pitching 1.1 innings allowing seven runs (four earned), walked seven, and struck out two.
This series continues into a doubleheader on April 11th.
Rogue River 13, Crosspoint Christian 2 (Game 1)
The Chieftains scored nine runs in the bottom of the fifth inning in a walk-off mercy rule victory over Crosspoint Christian.
Dustin Morton wrapped a two-out three run double to end the game. Morton finished 2-3 and scored two runs to go with three RBI. The Warriors were only able to get one hit off the bat of Isaac Root.
Morton was also the winning pitcher for Rogue River, hurling 3.2 innings of no hit ball and striking out five batters. Nathan Bowman was stuck with the loss for Crosspoint, going 3.0 innings allowing two hits, four runs (one earned) and striking out six.
Rogue River 12, Crosspoint Christian 2 (Game 2)
Rogue River kept up the offensive intensity and tossed a combined no-hitter in a mercy-rule win.
Kohner Phillips got the start and pitched 3.0 innings without allowing a hit and struck out seven. Mason Ayer finished the no-hit bid and picked up the save while punching out four batters.
Despite not getting a hit, Crosspoint did plate a pair of runs. In the first inning Chase Knecht scored on a passed ball, and in the second inning Joel Kleinjan stole home.
Rogue River continues the non-league slate on April 11th when they visit Sutherlin, while Crosspoint Christian travels to Oakridge on April 12th.
Wednesday (4/9/25)
Lakeview 23, Mazama 3
Lakeview scored nine runs in each the third and fourth innings to bust the game wide open in the late going, and held on for the victory. The Vikings committed nine errors and allowed 17 unearned runs.
Kollin Tacchini was the standout for the Honkers, going 2-3 with four RBI and five runs scored. He was helped by Anthony Llamas with a 1-4 day and three RBI. Lakeview had 10 hits and walked 11 times. Devyn Lobdell was 2-2 for Mazama with an RBI, and Jayden Justice was 1-2 with a pair of RBI.
The winning pitcher was Miles Maxwell who tossed 4.0 innings allowing two runs and striking out eight hitters. Mason Snell was the losing pitcher for Mazama going 1.1 innings allowing four runs (two earned) and striking out two batters.
Lakeview has to wait until April 15th to get back on the diamond when they see St. Mary’s Medford. Mazama will face Phoenix on April 11th in a Skyline Conference game.
