CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech right-hander Tim Williams was named Cascade Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week, announced by the league office.
The senior, from Emmett, Idaho, was instrumental in the Owls 4-game weekend sweep of Eastern Oregon, helping the club improve to 25-11 on the year.
Williams got the start in Game 1 of the series, tossing seven shutout innings, holding EOU to three hits, no walks and striking out a season-high nine – picking up his fourth win.
OIT continues their month-long homestand on Friday, hosting Warner Pacific.
