High school basketball: Crosspoint Christian, Chiloquin girls eliminated from 1A playoffs, other results from Tuesday

Here’s a quick look at Tuesday’s Basin high school basketball results. This page will be updated with stats and recaps.

Henley 68, Hidden Valley 26 (Girls)

On senior night, Henley (22-2, 12-0) completed its first undefeated Skyline Conference campaign in 10 years as Hidden Valley’s (8-16, 4-8) season came to a close.

The Hornets received the No. 3 seed in the 4A playoffs and will host a first-round game March 7 against an opponent TBD.

Phoenix 64, Mazama 23 (Girls)

Phoenix (14-9, 7-5) took second place in the Skyline Conference with a senior night win over Mazama (1-22, 0-12). 

Echo 64, Crosspoint Christian 15 (Girls)

No. 24 seed Crosspoint Christian (16-11) lost in its first-ever playoff game as No. 9 seed Echo (21-6) won its playoff opener for the fourth year in a row. 

Trout Lake/Glenwood 64, Chiloquin 42 (Girls)

No. 25 seed Chiloquin (12-10) lost its first-round game at No. 8 seed Trout Lake/Glenwood (19-4) as the Mustangs advanced to the second round for the fourth straight season.

Hidden Valley 56, Henley 47 (Boys)

Hidden Valley (15-9, 7-5 Skyline Conference) led wire-to-wire as it handed Henley (4-18, 0-12) a senior night loss.

Phoenix 68, Mazama 59 (Boys)

Host Phoenix (16-7, 10-2) came out on top in a winner-take-all game to claim the Skyline Conference championship, denying Mazama (13-11, 9-3) its first league title since 2018.

The Vikings earned an automatic bid to the 4A playoffs, but their seeding won’t be determined until after the play-in round. They’ll travel for their first-round game March 8.
