Horner Named to NAIA Preseason All-America Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oregon Tech catcher Tyler Horner was one of 17 players selected to the NAIA Baseball Preseason All-America Team, selected annually by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association (NAIA-BCA) All-America Committee.

Horner is coming off a record-setting 2024 – hitting .394, recording school records with 16 home runs and 21 doubles, adding 59 RBI – earning Cascade Conference Player of the Year and first-team NAIA All-America honors, helping the Owls win a school-record 34 games.

He becomes OIT’s first-ever preseason All-American since the NAIA began the award in 2015.

Tech opens the 2025 season on Feb. 2 in California at La Sierra.
