KLAMATH FALLS – A total of 400-500 kids from schools across the Klamath Basin will be in attendance for Oregon Tech Basketball on Friday – the 2nd Annual K-12 Field Trip Game at Danny Miles Court, as the Lady Owls and Hustlin’ Owls meet Walla Walla… women’s game is set for 11 a.m., men’s game to follow at 1 p.m. – as both teams put lengthy win streaks on the line.

The early start times were determined by the Cascade Conference, as Walla Walla is a Seventh-Day Adventist institution, with their religious Sabbath beginning at sundown on Friday.

OIT worked with schools across the Basin to use the game as a reward for good behavior in class and good grades – with the students getting an opportunity to watch two college basketball games during the school day.

Both games will be carried live on the Owls Sports Network, with the women’s game broadcast live on 104.3 &  960 Sports, with the men’s game to be broadcast live on 92.5 KLAD-FM.

Saturday, OIT hosts nationally-ranked teams from Lewis-Clark State – with the women’s match-up at 4 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 6 p.m.
