CORVALLIS, Ore. – It was a clean sweep of the weekly Cascade Conference awards by the Oregon Tech men’s basketball team, announced today by the league office.
Kam Osborn was selected as Offensive Player of the Week, Jamison Guerra was named Defensive Player of the Week, with Tech as a squad named CCC Team of the Week.
Osborn was instrumental in Saturday’s two overtime win over rival Southern Oregon, scoring a season-high 26 points – including the final seven points in the second overtime to clinch the victory. The sixth-year player finished 7-of-13 from the field and 9-of-10 from the free throw stripe.
Guerra recorded a season-high four steals in the win, helping the Owls hold SOU to 39-percent shooting from the field after halftime. The senior logged a double-double with 19 points and 10 assists, adding seven rebounds.
