Kid Cudi recruits Chip Tha Ripper for the collab “DONT WORRY”

Kid Cudi has dropped the self-directed video for his new song “Don’t Worry,” featuring Chip Tha Ripper. Cudi and Chip Tha Ripper, a.k.a. King Chip, previously collaborated on the RIAA-certified platinum hit “Just What I Am” back in 2012.

The video for track, which Cudi calls “an ode to New York, ” shows the rappers galivant throughout the city, bouncing between rooftop to studio to art gallery. Cudi states in an on-screen message before the video (from cinematographer Brett Bushell) begins: “I moved to NY in 2005. Over the years, it became my second home. To the people of NY, this is my love letter to you. Thank you for always making me feel like family. I love you endlessly, enjoy.”

“Don’t Worry” coincides with the rollout of the fourth issue of Cudi’s Moon Man comic book series. The inaugural issue arrived in January, followed by bimonthly releases leading up to issue No. 4 (which dropped on Sept. 25). An upcoming fifth issue is slated for Oct. 16.
