CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech freshman Lucy Boyd was honored as Cascade Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week, announced by the league office.
Boyd was instrumental in the Lady Owls weekend sweep, combining for nine kills, 76 assists, 14 digs and six blocks in the victories over Evergreen State and Northwest.
The first-year player recorded a career-high five kills against TESC, adding 33 assists and six digs. One night later, Boyd posted the highest 3-set assist total by an OIT player since 2015, recording 43 assists, adding a career-high six blocks, eight digs and four kills.
For the season, Boyd leads the CCC in assists per set (6.52).
The Lady Owls return to action Wednesday night with a 6 p.m. match-up at No. 5-ranked Southern Oregon.
