SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Quincy Beyrouty capped a historic tournament with a final round 69, blitzing the field of 41 players by nine strokes, helping Oregon Tech to a second-place team finish at the Bushnell Fall Classic.

COMPLETE RESULTS

Beyrouty set a OIT and Cascade Conference 36-hole scoring record, finishing the tournament at 5-under-par (70-69 – 139) – with her margin of victory equaling the largest winning margin in a league event (joining Janelle Ferlan of OIT at the 2018 Warner Pacific Invite). Jessica Ng (78-70 – 148) of British Columbia finished second, with two players ending 10-strokes back.

Paced by Top-10 finishes from freshman Madison Dick (82-73 – 155) and sophomore Madie Hepner (81-79 – 160), the Lady Owls (317-300 – 617) finished just 14 strokes behind team champion and No. 4 ranked UBC. It was the ninth time in OIT history that the Owls have posted a single-round score of 300 or better.

The No. 21 ranked Lady Owls topped third-place and No. 20 ranked Lewis-Clark State (327-331 – 658) by 41 strokes.

Freshman Sydney Dick (84-79 – 163) finished in 13th-place, with junior Baylee Hodgman (87-85 – 172) in a tie for 22nd.

OIT will have next week off in preparation for a journey to Palm Beach, Fla. – competing at the Invite at Innisbrook.
