CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon Tech midfielder Kiana Jacobson was named Cascade Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, announced today by the league office.
The senior, from Monroe, Wash., made the most of her lone goal during the Lady Owls trip to the Los Angeles metro – striking home a 20-yard dart into the left corner of the net with nine minutes remaining, lifting Tech to a 3-2 upset victory over No. 11 ranked Hope International.
It was OIT’s first win against a Top-25 team since 2021 and the sixth Top-25 win in program history.
Jacobson leads the team with two goals on the year.
The Lady Owls head to Redding, Calif., this week – playing Park-Gilbert on Thursday and Simpson on Saturday.
