On August 8th, 2024, at approximately 10:03 a.m., patrol officers from the Klamath Falls Police Department responded to 3201 Quarry Street regarding a welfare check on the resident after receiving a third-party report that the resident had been shot. Officers arrived at the residence and found the resident deceased. The Klamath County Major Crime Team was activated and is currently investigating this incident.
The Klamath County Major Crime Team consists of detectives from the Klamath Falls Police Department, Oregon State Police, the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office, Klamath Community Corrections, and the Klamath County District Attorney’s Office.
