Deputy Gage Knox recently graduated from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) in Salem, Oregon. He received two very prestigious honors following the 16-week academy. He was selected for the “Victor G. Atiyeh Outstanding Student” award and the “Outstanding Health and Physical Fitness” award. In each academy class only one student is selected to receive these awards.
Deputy Knox began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in 2019 where he worked as a Corrections Deputy in the jail for four years before transferring to the Patrol Division this year. He attended the DPSST academy earning his certification and these two achievement awards. Congratulations Deputy Knox. Thank you for representing yourself, your office, your profession, and this county so well.
