Chase Rice shares the autobiographical track ‘Go Down Singin”

Chase Rice is sharing his autobiographical new song, “Go Down Singin’,” which sees the artist getting honest about his musical journey and marking the start of his next chapter as a newly independent artist. Rice previously dropped the track “Fireside” as a preview to his forthcoming independent release, the follow-up to his critically acclaimed I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell album.

Rice co-wrote Go Down Singin’ alongside Blake Pendergrass during a trip back to his roots in North Carolina, and shared with fans: “I’ll spare y’all the details, but a few months ago I decided to leave my record deal and do this thing on my own. I appreciate the love and songs Broken Bow and I did together. We had a lot of fun, and had two number ones. I made friends and met people who will always be a positive influence in my life. But now it’s time for me to ride this crazy rollercoaster we call the music industry by myself… Guess now it’s on me, if I go down at least I go down singin’.”

Rice is also currently on the road with Dierks Bentley through September, in addition to his appearances at festivals including Summerfest, Windy City Smokeout, and more.
