Ed Sheeran celebrates 10th anniversary of ‘X’ with deluxe edition

Ed Sheeran released a special 10th anniversary edition of his sophomore studio album X (pronounced Multiply), ten years since its original release. The X (10th Anniversary Edition) is available in multiple formats including an EcoRecord; a new, more ecologically sustainable LP format, CD zine, and digital.

X (Multiply) was Sheeran’s second album; released in 2014, the album has now exceeded 22 million global sales and generated the hit singles, “Don’t,” “Sing,” and “Photograph,” and the diamond-selling and multiple Grammy-winning global hit, “Thinking Out Loud.” The deluxe edition features nine bonus tracks on the individual formats of the anniversary editions, all of which have never been released on vinyl, including “I See Fire” and “All of the Stars,” from the films, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and The Fault In Our Stars.

Just last month, Sheeran celebrated the album’s anniversary with a special, sold-out, one-night-only show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, where he performed the project in its entirety, including many of the songs for the first time live.
