KLAMATH FALLS, Ore – The Henley Hornets (13-0; 21-1) defeated the Mazama Vikings (1-10; 2-17) 15-3 on Tuesday to extend the current winning streak to 16 games.
The Vikings struck first in the bottom of the first inning. Deshawn Carter knocked in a run after reaching base on an error, and Mason Spivey grounded out to score another. Ulloa-Ford allowed five hits and of the seven runs that scored on his watch, none of them were earned. He walked and struck out five batters.
The teams combined for 11 errors in the contest and 13 unearned runs.
Corbin Hamilton got the start on the mound for Henley and pitched a complete five inning game. With the win, Hamilton improved to 5-0 on the season and this marked his third consecutive complete game. In those three games he has only allowed one earned run to give him an ERA of 0.90 on the year.
