Henley boys bowling reached the championship match for the first time ever at the 2024 high school state tournament at AMF Firebird Lanes in Salem Saturday and Sunday.

The Hornets, who entered bracket play as the No. 6 seed, ended up bowling 30 games against 15 teams over the two-day tournament. They won best-of-three matchups with teams from Hermiston, Salem, Roseburg and Sheldon en route to the state title match, where they lost 2-0 to North Medford.

Henley and North Medford both lost in the quarterfinals of last year’s state tournament.
