Reschke On KAGO Radio on Measure 110

Oregon Representative E. Werner Reschke is on a mission to repeal Measure 110.

In November 2020, Oregon voters passed by referendum Measure 110, or the Drug Addiction Treatment and Recovery Act. the measure legalized street drugs in Oregon and diverted funds to the Oregon Health Authority to treat addiction.

Many in the state feel the measure went off the rails with mismanagement of the funds and spurring a near-epic rash of open drug use. Representative Reschke is working to get Oregon Governor Kotek to call a special session of the Oregon Legislature to overturn the law and says every day it’s on the books, it is causing the addiction crisis, namely the Fentanyl epidemic, to increase.

Mybasin.com and KAGO published an interview we shot with the State Rep Friday morning where he lays his case out to his constituents here in Klamath Falls. You can view it here.

KAGO News is committed to providing you with the most up-to-date, and salient news you can use and we ask you to check out this interview and decide for yourself whether Representative Reschke is correct that the measure needs to be repealed. Mybasin.com and KAGO is working to find a representative of the counterpoint to speak for its continuation. Please stay tuned.
