NOGALES, Ariz. – The Klamath Falls Little League was unable to overcome a Hawaii team that has dominated the 50/70 West Region Tournament, losing 17-2 in a quarterfinal matchup last night.
Hawaii, the No. 1 seed, went undefeated in pool play and has now outscored its tournament opponents 66-9. They will face No. 4 seed Arizona in tonight’s semifinals.
Klamath Falls, the No. 8 seed, advanced to the knockout stage via tiebreaker rules after going winless in pool play.
