ALLEY ACTIVATION PROJECT BRIGHTENS THE CITY LANDSCAPE

Earlier this month, eight paintings were installed in the 11 Street Alley Way. The otherwise unadorned parking area seemed to come alive with color and that was no accident. Kelsey Mueller Wendt, project manager at the Alley Activation Project, part of Healthy Klamath hopes to bring attention  to the culture and artistry of KFalls through this effort to have the paintings installed as the second phase of the initiative which she founded. In the third phase she hopes to install another 8 art pieces , but she says it all comes down to grant funding and monies. She hopes to have the funding together by next summer where she will tackle another unadorned parking lot downtown, but for now, residents can enjoy the 8 works of art on 11 street and appreciate the talent that only Klamath Falls can offer.
