ROSEBURG, Ore – June 16. Trey Smith lined a go-ahead 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning, helping the Mid-Valley Southpaws of Albany top the Klamath Falls Falcons, 4-2, at Legion Field.
KF (1-2) plated a pair of first inning unearned runs and finished with six singles from six different players – but finished 0-for7 with runners in scoring position.
Mark Carpenter tossed four innings of one run ball in a no decision.
KF will complete their game from last night vs Salem at 3:05 and play Roseburg at 9:00
