Klamath Falls City Council Meets with Diverse Agenda

Klamath Falls, Ore. – The Klamath Falls City Council assembles June 5th with a diverse agenda. The meeting will kick off with a work session that consider instigating a pilot planting strips program in the scenic city. There will also be a general public hearing to address renaming Brett Way to Wings Way. Also on tap during the p[public hearing will be a resolution adopting a supplemental budget for the 2-year budget period of 2021 through 2023, within the downtown maintenance district fund, escrow reserve fun, and the water fund.

The dais will also consider annexing a 1.37-acre parcel at 3030 South 6th Street for a new Burger King restaurant and gvining it a general commercial designation. The property is owned by Curt Baney incorporated.

Mayor Westfall is also slated to read a procolamation declaring June 15th Elder Abuse Awareness Day in Klamath Falls.
