Klamath Falls, Ore. – Klamath Falls area Henley High School Senior Ryan Dotson has reportedly died from drowning in Lake of the Woods on Tuesday. The tragic news was broken by Klamath County Schools Superintendent Glen Szymoniak in a letter that was posted to the school district’s website. The body was recovered by emergency responders on Tuesday.
The letter states that crisis teams have been dispatched to Henley and Mazama High Schools on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The letter encourages students to attend school on Wednesday “so they can process this event with their peers and teachers with the help of professional support.“
