KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech Head Softball Coach Greg Stewart announced recently the signing of Jayce Seavert to a letter-of-intent for the 2021 season.
Seavert, a catcher, from La Grande High School, Oregon led her team to back-to-back 4A state titles in her sophomore and junior seasons.
“Jayce is a top notch student-athlete and will be a future impact player out of our 2020 recruiting class,” said Stewart. “She is the complete package behind the plate with a plus arm, great fundamentals, and Jayce is proven to be one of the best hitters in the state. I am thrilled that Jayce has chosen to be an Owl and continue her education and softball career here at Tech.”
Here accolades include: Three-Time First team all-league catcher, two time league player of the year, two time First team all-state catcher and was the 4A Player or the Year in 2018.
In 2018 as a sophomore she had a .539 batting average, 619 OB% with 9 doubles, 5 triples, 16 home runs and 49 RBI. In 2019 as a junior she had a .595 batting average, 663 OB% with 17 doubles, 12 home runs and 61 RBI.
Seavert is the daughter of Mandi and Jamey Seavert and is Intending on majoring in Radiological Science at Oregon Tech.
