LA GRANDE, Ore. – Oregon Tech with 191.73 points repeated as the runner-up in 2018-19 Cascade Conference All-Sport Championship. The Owls finished second on the strength of first place points in women’s cross-country and men’s basketball and earned a plethora of second-place points in women’s basketball (tie), men’s and women’s golf and softball.
Southern Oregon University will be adorned with another championship banner as SOU lays claim to their fourth straight All-Sport title. The Raiders earned first place points with regular season championships in men’s soccer, volleyball (tie), men’s track/field and softball. Key points were also attained with second place finishes in men’s and women’s cross-country and third place in women’s track/field. In total the Raiders racked up 203.12 points.
Eastern Oregon, The College of Idaho and Corban round out the top 5 with 187.29, 181.93 and 162.61 points respectively. Eastern Oregon earned max points for their women’s basketball championship while CI stood atop the men’s cross-country podium. Corban earned second place points in men’s soccer and women’s basketball (tie).
