The Klamath County Transition Program is set to host a “Gone Fishing” day Saturday, August 4th, at the More Park Pavilion from 9am-3pm.
Gone Fishing is a free fishing day open to students involved in special programs within the County and City School District. The Klamath County Transition Program has teamed up Pond Hopper Nation to give the students the opportunity to get outdoors and learn about fishing.
The Klamath Falls Police and Fire Departments have volunteered to barbecue and help with different activities.
The Klamath County Transition Program are hoping to get enough donations to provide the students that register with rods, reels, bait, t-shirts, and sunglasses.
